London event – 11 October 2017
We’re hosting a networking event exclusively for alumni and friends of the University of Auckland in London on Wednesday 11 October.
This special reception will take place at The Royal Society.
Our guest speaker, Professor Frank Bloomfield, will discuss one of the questions which is at the heart of the University of Auckland Campaign For All Our Futures:
CAN WE…prevent disease before birth?
Professor Bloomfield, the Director of the Liggins Institute is an internationally renowned scientist and a consultant neonatologist who cares for some of the most at risk babies in New Zealand.
The Liggins Institute has an international reputation for transforming its research into reality in hospitals around the globe and for making a difference to the health of all mothers and babies.
As the evening’s host, Vice-Chancellor Professor Stuart McCutcheon will share news, highlights and Campaign updates from your University.
There will also be ample opportunity to network with other University of Auckland alumni in the area.
